Galea Gean Darbe

DARBE, GALEA GEAN, age 61, of Clarkston, passed away December 11, 2023. She was born on December 31, 1961, in Pontiac, Michigan, daughter to the late William and Nancy Foster (nee Skaggs). Loving mother of Maegan Darbe, Ashley Darbe and Marcus Darbe; loving sister of Teresa (the late Mark) Morris, Lavone (Kenneth) Stecker, Loretta Nims and the late William Kenneth Foster. Galea was a lifelong resident of Clarkston, graduating from Clarkston High School. She worked as a cook for Children's Village for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling with friends, vacationing, and listening to live music. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, 1:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home-Clarkston. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Memorial donations in Galea's name may be made to Gleaners Community Food Bank.
