Gana Elree Blackmon

Mrs. Gana Moles Blackmon, of Heath Springs, SC passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026 at MUSC-Lancaster. She was born November 24, 1931 in Carrol County, Virginia. She was a daughter of the late George McKinley and Lola Keith Moles. She was employed by the Lancaster County School District until retirement and was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Blackmon will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 2 p.m. at the Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy Ussery officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband Randy Blackmon of Heath Springs; son and daughter-in-law Tracy and Jenny Blackmon of Matthews, NC; granddaughters Rachel Blackmon of Prague, Czech Republic and Emily Blackmon of Matthews, NC; a special niece, Lisa Wood of Woodbridge, VA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blackmon is preceded in death by her six sisters, Etholeen, Velda, Claribel, Macleda, Rita and Stella; and a brother, Raymon.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
