Graveside services for Garland "Bo" Costlow, 81, of Tool, are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Hopewell Cemetery in Anderson County, with Pastor Brian McWhorter officiating. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Costlow passed away on November 8, 2024, in Mabank.
Garland Lee Costlow was born in Anderson County, Texas, on August 19, 1943, to Ross Shelton Costlow and Lois Geraldine (Pierce) Costlow. He was a construction superintendent for 40 years at L.H. Lacy Construction Company, where he retired. Bo enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Shelton Costlow; and his sisters, Kathleen Holcomb and Lounell Costlow.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Glenda Costlow of Tool; his children, Rhonda Lozano and husband Ricky of Mabank, Cary Costlow and wife Staci of Seven Points, and Terry Costlow and wife LaDonna of Seven Points; his siblings, Bobby Costlow, Elizabeth Gregg, Elain Creamer, and Gerry Costlow; his grandchildren, Brandon Lozano and wife Andrea, Lesley Murphy and husband Jeff, Jake Costlow and wife Kelsey, Jordyn Goodson and husband Clayton, Tanner Costlow, and Jodi Costlow; eight great-grandchildren with one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cary Costlow, Terry Costlow, Ricky Lozano, Brandon Lozano, Jake Costlow, and Tanner Costlow. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Murphy and Clayton Goodson.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
