Jimmy passed away on September 13, 2025, in Athens, Texas.
Jimmy Glynn Dean was born on June 9, 1978, in Athens, Texas the son of David William Dean and Charlotte Jean (Comegys) Dean. He attended Cross Roads High School, loved spending time with family, hanging out with his dog Tazo playing ball and playing video games. Jimmy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Survivors include his parents, David and Charlotte Dean of Athens; his sisters, Felicia Reed and husband Josh of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jennifer Villasana and husband Eddie of Groton, Connecticut; one niece Mariah Tilley and nephews, Edmund Villasana, Zechariah Reed, Malachi Reed and Jeremiah Reed and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Dean, Tristan Dean, Jacob Dean, Josh Reed, Zac Reed, Eddie Villasana and Edmund Villasana.
A visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 1-3:00 p.m. at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
