Virginia Robinson Dean

Virginia Robinson Dean entered into internal rest on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the age of 77 with her sister, Joyce by her side. Virginia was born on September 17, 1948, to Irelia C. And Joe Edwards Robinson Sr. She was Christened at St Joan of Arc Church by the late Florence and David McGee. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, and she attended Southern University in Baton Rouge. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her siblings: Joyce (John) Augillard, Audrey R. Henderson, Rosey (John) Brown, Anthony (Past officer of KPC/293CN), and Bernard Collins. Sister-in-Laws: Myrtle Robinson and Ruth Collins, 16 Nieces and Nephews, 31 great-nieces and nephews, and 6 great-great nieces and nephews. And a host of cousins and godchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Joe E. and Irelia C. Robinson Sr., grandparents: Elijah Collins, Alonia George and Rosia Collins; brothers: Willie Collins, Tommie Lee Robinson, Robert Robinson Sr, Dwayne Collins, and Joe Edward Robinson Jr. and Great niece Kelan Augillard. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday November 19, 2025, for 10:00 am at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126.
