Garold Winzenread Obituary
Garold leaves a 90+ year legacy; highlighted by 65 years of marriage to the love of his life, 2 children, 5 grandchildren and what would have been his first great grandchild on the way. He was a family man and had the heart of a teacher. This served him well during his almost 30 years as a well - loved educator at Indianapolis Public Schools. He was a proud member of the RAKKASANS, serving in the 187th Airborne Division. He was a man who always said what he thought, stood on his beliefs, and he was usually right. He will be greatly missed.
Garold is survived by his wife: Roberta Winzenread; brother: Marvin (Jo) Winzenread; children: Elizabeth Chandler and Gary (Patty) Winzenread; grandchildren: Samantha (Brett), Hyli (Chris), Gary Jr., Joel and Evan.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Russell & Eleanor Winzenread; and daughter: Mary Katherine Winzenread.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
