SPRING HOPE- Garrett Duncan Quinn, a loving son, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend passed away unexpectedly from this life, at the early age of 37. He left us peacefully and was surrounded by his family. He was born in Wake County to Robert Black & Kathy Perry Quinn. Garrett worked as a Business Officer for the NC Department of Public Safety. Garrett brought joy to many with his amazing sense of humor and vocal talents paired with his guitar or banjo. The life he lived was short, but he made the best of each and every day. His legacy of care, comedy, commitment, and dedication will prosper in the lives of those who hold him close in their hearts. Garrett was preceded in death by his brother, Austin Perry Quinn; grandfathers, Bob Quinn and Bobby Perry; and grandmother, Ann Fowler.
Funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Zebulon Baptist Church, located at 400 N Arendell Ave, Zebulon, NC. The family memorial visitation will be from 12:00pm to 1:45pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W Gannon Ave. in Zebulon NC.
Along with his parents, Garrett is survived by his wife, Landis Collier Quinn; his grandmother, Edith Quinn; his brother, Paul Quinn (Megan); his sister-in-law, Lauren Wood (Jason); his nieces and nephew, Payton Wood, Paige Wood, Neva Quinn and Juke Quinn; and his many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
