Garry Ray McKenzie, 65, of Fredericktown, Ohio passed away August 17, 2025 at OSU hospital after a long illness.
Garry was born on June 12, 1960 in Delaware Ohio to Joe and Malinda McKenzie. Garry spent many of his years living in Paintsville, Kentucky and Marengo, Ohio. He worked at Meijer for several years and Galena Brickyard.
On October 29, 2016 Garry married Ruth Ann Linville.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann, sister-in-law Gloria McKenzie of Marengo, brother Kenny (Kendra) McKenzie of Fredericktown, sister Annie (Gregg) Lloyd of Fredericktown and sister Betty McKenzie of Mt Vernon. He is also survived by several much-loved nieces and nephews; Nicole (Dante) Wright, Jesse (Katie) McKenzie, Danielle (Steven) Worline, Katie Rose McKenzie and Jacob (Brittany Sliva) Lloyd. Several great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, brother Doug McKenzie, and nephew Joey McKenzie.
Family will gather at a later date to remember Garry. He will be buried in the family cemetery in Paintsville, Kentucky later this fall around deer season, Garry’s favorite time of year.
