Gary C. Adam, 75, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 in the Laurel Center. He was the husband of Linda D. (Triest) Adam. They were married on April 28, 2000 and celebrated twenty-five years of marriage.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Richard and Dorothy (Buckwalter) Balthaser. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Gary worked for Exide Corporation for thirty-five years and East Penn Manufacturing for twenty-five years, last working August 2025. He previously enjoyed hunting. Gary was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Dale Earnhardt fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Shawn Adam, husband of Tammy, Ephrata; Kathy Stevens, wife of Craig, Syracuse, NY; and Christopher Adam, Jacksonville, FL; step-daughters: Tammy (Strickler) Adam, wife of Shawn, Ephrata; and Raylin (Strickler) Reidenour, wife of Derek, Exeter; seven grandchildren: Tyler, Connor, Catharine, Delaney, Joshua, Ashley and Emily; and one great-granddaughter: Raegan. Gary is also survived by siblings: Jeff Balthaser, husband of Susan, Charlottesville, NC; Lynn Balthaser, companion of Hillary, Ligonier; Sandra (Adam) Stamm, wife of Brian, Bethel; and Jo (Adam) Herr, wife of Rick, Jonestown.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). A viewing will be on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. For online condolences, please visit, www.leibenspergerfuneralhomes.com.
