Ralph "Gary" Bishop, 81, passed away October 16, 2025. He was born January 6, 1944 in Lebanon, Kentucky. He was retired from General Electric. He proudly served his country in the Kentucky National Guard. Gary was a charter member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and a member of Cross Creek Country Club in Fort Myers, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.D. and Ada Bishop; his sister, Glenda Giles and her husband Bobby Giles; his brother, Larry Bishop and his wife, Kathy Bishop.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dorothy, his children, Paul Bishop (Courtney), Kevin Bishop, and Denise Givens (David) and four grandchildren, Reese and Riley Givens, Evan Bishop, and Olivia Bishop, his sister, Brenda Ludwick (Berk), and nine nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2025. Funeral services will be at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5505 Tangelo Drive, Louisville, KY at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
