Gary Lee Borden, age 61, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Friday, September 5, 2025,
at his residence.
Gary was born in Columbus, Ohio, on May 26, 1964, to the late Charles Franklin
Borden and Barbara Ann (Gardener) Borden.
Gary worked as a Plant Manager for many years, producing industrial panels, including
panels for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Gary was a man who always put others first. He was a good-hearted man who always
made sure to check in on those that he loved, prioritizing their needs above his own.
In his spare time, Gary loved to go on car rides into the country with his brother Mike.
The two always enjoyed their time together, whether it was time spent on the boat, in
the car, or with Mike's German shepherd Max, who loved his uncle Gary.
Gary was also an Ohio State Buckeyes fanatic. His house was a palace that he adorned
with Scarlet and Gray, and many, many Brutus's. If someone had to get a hold of Gary
on a Saturday when the Buckeyes were playing, "Good luck", because he was busy
watching the game.
Gary loved taking care of his cars, taking care of his house, and he loved his family.
Gary was a great man, with a warm and kind soul. He will be forever missed.
Gary Lee Borden is survived by his brother Michael (Donna) Borden; former wife Mary
Borden; former stepsons Aaron Starner and Tony Starner; nieces Ashley Dawson and
April Wileschael; and nephews Josh Borden and Cameron Borden.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents Charles Franklin Borden and Barbara Ann
(Gardener) Borden.
