Gary M. Caby, 77, peacefully passed away in St. Charles on October 1, 2024 Born January 27, 1947, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Gary was an incredibly accomplished man. He obtained his Master's degree in Business Administration and developed a successful career over the years. A proud US Army veteran, Gary will be fondly remembered for his dedication to his community and serving others. He served his country during the Vietnam war and earned numerous medals. He later went on to serve his community as an elected city official in St. Peters, Missouri. His commitment to education was evident through his leadership as the chairman for the foundation of School District 54.

When he wasn't hard at work or serving on the many community boards, he was a part of, you could find Gary cheering on his beloved St. Louis Cardinals. There was little he loved more than cheering on his favorite baseball team.

What Gary did love more than the Cardinals, was his family. He was a truly dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Married to Betty for over 54 years, they created a beautiful family together. Known for his loyalty and integrity, Gary was a true friend and someone you could always count on.

Loving husband of Betty; beloved father of Taylor (Melissa) and Parker; cherished grandfather of Henry, Samuel, Owen, and Clara; adored uncle of many nieces and nephews; loving brother of many brothers and sisters; dear friend and neighbor to many

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Marlene Caby and Juanita Chamberlain

A Celebration of Life will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Chandler's, 401 N. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60194.

Donations can be made in Gary's honor to the School District 54 Food Pantry C/O Lisa Garza, E. Schaumburg Road Schaumburg, IL 60194.
