After a brave and worthy fight with pancreatic cancer Gary passed away peacefully at his home with his children, sister, brother, and mother by his side. Gary will be remembered most for his role as a father and grandfather and his willingness to serve those in his family whom he loved dearly. Gary is preceded in death by his father Everrett Lane Cochran and a brother Tim Cochran.
He is survived by his son and best friend Jacob Cochran, and his 3 daughters Allison Swanson, Kortney Ward, and Amber Cochran; their mother Cathy Kuykendall; his mother Louise Cochran; his sister Phyllis Davis (James) and brother Joe Cochran (Marybeth); 2 son-in-laws Ethan Swanson and Cody Ward; 3 grandchildren Addie Ward, Lane Ward, and Mylo Swanson; and numerous cousins.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes for any donations to be made in Gary's honor to the American Cancer Society.
