Gary L. Cornwell

Gary L. Cornwell, age 72 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday September 23, 2025. The Funeral Service, conducted by Alton Roark, will be held in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage Funeral Home at Gallatin on Friday September 26, 2025 at 2 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and again on Friday from noon until service time. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Gary was born in Nashville, TN on March 25, 1953. He worked as a brick mason for many years. He is survived by his son Bobby (Andrea) Cornwell of Iowa, brother Larry (Helga) Cornwell of Kentucky, sisters Patsy Gilbert of Portland and Donna (James) Wright of Gallatin, grandchildren Austin Cornwell and Janie (Jordan) Bond, three great grandchildren Carson Cornwell, Hazel Bond and Gunner Bond and sister-in-law Bonnie Cornwell. He is preceded in death by his 1st wife Janie Ryan Cornwell and 2nd wife Mildred Cornwell, brother Ricky Cornwell, parents William Oliver Cornwell and Sarah Cornwell and brother-in-law Eddie Gilbert.
