Gary Lee Davis

Gary Lee Davis, age 79, of Carleton, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Born December 19, 1945, in Hibbing, Minnesota, Gary was the son of Clinton and Hazel (Fredenburg) Davis. He married the love of his life, Sharon J. (Thompson) Davis, on October 9, 1976, in Taylor, Michigan.

Gary was the owner of Ceal-Tite Pump Company for the past 29 years and had previously worked for Levy. A proud member of Local #324 Operators Union, he was a journeyman in all trades, and was widely known as a man who could fix or build anything.

Gary loved classic cars, guns, Harley Davidson motorcycles, boating, camping, and refurbishing old vehicles. He also had a love for speed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Laura Troumbley.

Gary is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters Tammy Parks, Shelley Rozmiarek, and Cortney Cichowlas; grandchildren Cristina (Rico) Mauricio, Haily Moore, Alyssa Gallagher, Gracie Rozmiarek, Jackson Davis, Noah Davis, Ava Cichowlas, and Vera Cichowlas; great-grandchildren Lincoln Mauricio and Lydia Mae Mauricio; and his brother, Roland Davis.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Flat Rock Church of Christ, 24745 Huron River Dr., Rockwood, MI 48173, with a Memorial Visitation beginning at 12 pm. Minister Timothy J. Dunn will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flat Rock Church of Christ.
