In Loving Memory of Wynn Elwood Krzyske
August 14, 1957 - July 13, 2025
Wynn Elwood Krzyske, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 13, 2025.
Born on August 14, 1957, in Monroe, Michigan, to Lyle and Norma (Falantine). Wynn lived a life marked by faith, integrity, and unwavering love for his family and friends. Raised with strong Christian values, Wynn's faith was the cornerstone of his life-guiding decisions, his relationships, and the quiet strength with which he faced every challenge.
Wynn's greatest joy was his family. He deeply cherished his beloved bride, Cathy, with whom he shared a love marked by devotion, laughter, and countless memories. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in love and mutual respect. Wynn was a proud and loving father to Andrew Krzyske, Kyle (Tasha) Krzyske, Nicole (Chase) Colley, Christopher (Kali) Barnaby, and Carla (David) Golden. He was a treasured Grandpa to seven adoring grandchildren: Cora, Logan, Dean, Jaxon, Adelaide, Jane, and Charlotte, each of whom brought him endless pride and joy.
A dedicated businessman, Wynn poured his heart into Krzyske Brothers Company; a family legacy he worked tirelessly to uphold and grow with care and commitment. His leadership and work ethic left a lasting mark not only on the business, but on all who had the pleasure of working with him, carrying the company into its fifth generation of ownership.
Wynn was known for his loyalty to his friends and the deep relationships he cultivated over the years. Whether sharing stories over coffee or cheering on a game, he was a steady and loyal presence in the lives of many.
Baseball was one of Wynn's lifelong passions, whether playing, coaching, or rooting for his beloved Tigers, it brought him both joy and connection with others. He also had a deep love for travel, eagerly embracing new places and cultures with a spirit of adventure and wonder.
Wynn was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Carl Oxley, his sister-in-law Pamela Krzyske, and several beloved extended family members. He is survived by his devoted wife Cathy, his five children and their spouses, his seven grandchildren, and his siblings Nyle (Bob) Potthast and Kent (Janis) Krzyske, all of whom will continue to carry his legacy forward with love and gratitude.
Wynn's life was a testimony of faith, love, hard work, and joy. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
