Gary Denes Obituary
Born Feb. 1, 1953, in Painesville, Gary lived in Painesville Twp. his whole life.
Gary enjoyed rock music and playing his guitar. He was a big Cleveland Guardians fan and a dog enthusiast.
He was the beloved former spouse of Edith M. Denes; loving father of David. A. Denes, Elizabeth D. (Thomas) McLaughlin and Savannah C. Denes; cherished grandfather of Haddie, Ellie, Stassi and Marlo; brother of Allen Denes and Diane (William) Crecraft; uncle of Heather Turek and Billy Crecraft; and his cat, Sally.
Gary was preceded in death by his son, Gary Louis Denes; and his parents, Louis and Dolores (nee Luikart) Denes.
Family will receive friends 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), with a Funeral Service at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's name may be made to One At A Time K-9 Rescue, 826 Park Rd., Painesville, OH 44077.
