Gary Phillip "Phil" Denning
A quiet man who understood the world around him. Life may have made him very practical, but he remained generous and kind till the end, remembering all the nurses' names who helped him during his most recent time in the hospital, as well as sharing his appreciative reflections and hopes for others.
His honesty was such that you didn't have to guess where you stood with him. He wasn't cruel or belittling, in fact if others behaved in such a manner, he would address them with intelligence and wit in defense of those being tread upon.
He was a wise man. That quietly mentored and taught those around him. His caring, principles, and rationale were deeply ingrained within his core being. He will be missed by a great many who had the honor of knowing him and highest respects for how wonderful Phil was.
A memorial service will be on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Highland Ward, 300 Gramercy Avenue, Ogden, UT. A gathering will begin prior at the church from 12:00-12:45 p.m. The memorial service will be live streamed at, https://MyersMortuary.livecontrol.tv/fd8413e3
