Gary Lee "Lee-man" Diesselhorst, age 53, passed away on January 9, 2024, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab.
Gary was born on May 7, 1970, to his parents Robert and Virginia (Ragland) Diesselhorst in Springfield, Illinois.
Gary was a fun and loving person to be around. He was a constant in his family's life, always bringing joy no matter the situation. He had a strong faith in the Lord and had a passion for the sport of fishing.
He is survived by his mother Virginia, siblings Sharon (John Mondin) Diesselhorst, Denise Wilson, and Dennis Diesselhorst; nieces and nephews Kyle (Hope) McBrian, Kimberly (Craig) Clevenger, Kayleigh (Dane) Bondurant, Katie Mondin, Isaac Diesselhorst, Lucas Diesselhorst, Robert (Malinda) Welsh, Henry Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, and Crystal Wilson, as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Honey Bend with burial to follow. Pastor Dan White will be officiating.
Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
