Gary Don Dyke, 75, of Medicine Lodge, KS, went to his final resting place, Monday, August 7, 2023 at Attica Long Term Care, Sweet Borough Lane Unit, Attica, KS.
He was born on December 3, 1947 in Higgins, Texas, the son of Donald Dyke and Betty (Barker) Dyke. On December 3, 1977, he married Toni J. (Orr) Dyke in Medicine Lodge, KS. She survives.
Gary was a Office Supervisor at National Gypsum. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the VFW Post 7625, Medicine Lodge.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Toni Dyke of Medicine Lodge, KS are two daughters, Carolyn Combs of Medicine Lodge, KS and Jennifer (Jesse) Plock of Kingman, KS; Four grandchildren, Riley Combs (Tori Fagan), Dylan (Nevaeh) Combs, Bryce Kimball (Gabby Rea), and Emma Dyke; one great grandchild, Walen Kimball.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Trevor Kimball, a sister, Sandra Myers and a brother, Richard Dyke.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to service time, at the First Assembly of God Church, Hwy. 281, Medicine Lodge, KS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church, Medicine Lodge, KS with Pastor Steve Todd officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, KS with military honors by the U.S. Marine Corp. Honor Guard.
Memorials may be made to Sweet Borough Lane at Attica Long Term Care in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104.
