Gary Dalton Forester Sr., age 73 of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025. He was born in Chattanooga to the late, Ernest E. Forester and Cleo Dalton Forester, was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith. Gary has been employed at Air and Hydraulic Equipment for the past 25 years and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ed Forester. Gary is survived by his loving wife, of 52 years, Frances Forester; son and daughter-in-law, Gary Forester and Sarah Forester; granddaughter, Makaleigh Forester; niece, Alicia (Doug) Pell; nephew, Tim (Sulena Bryant) Forester; and great nephews, Eddie Forester and Ernie Forester. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friend from 12:00 noon until the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the family. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe. For now, Gary leaves us with his signature goodbye "TOOTLES".
