Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away on Tuesday evening, March 12, 2024 at his residence surrounded by close friends and family. He was 76 years old. Gary Allen Frost was born on October 12, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Allen and Marion (Link) Frost. He married the love of his life Carol Mikolaiczik on January 23, 1970 in Saginaw, Michigan.
He was a member of the first graduating class from Douglas MacArthur High School in 1965 and was close with a group of friends, who had breakfast club throughout their later years. He remained best friends with Ronald Hazen who was by his side until the end.
Gary took over the family business, Mannion Brothers Hardware. He was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was a proud supporter of Saginaw semiprofessional hockey during his lifetime. In his younger years, he was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol; daughter Michelle; daughter, Stacey and her husband Ryan Adams and their children Ainsley, Regan and Barrett; sisters Carolyn, Barb (Don) Hull and Becky Frost. He is predeceased by his parents and brother.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: A Memorial Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor David Naumann will officiate.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.
MEMORIALS: Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Michigan Lutheran Seminary or the Saginaw Children's Zoo.
