Gary Michael Fuller

Gary Michael Fuller, 70, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2025 at his residence in Bakersfield, CA. His family is shocked and deeply saddened by this sudden loss.

Gary was born on February 24, 1955 in San Jose, CA to his loving parents, Gerald and LaVerne. He grew up in Los Gatos, CA with his two older brothers, Chuck and Tim. During his time at San Jose State University, where he earned his degree in mechanical engineering, he met his first wife, Diane Biswanger. Together they had three children, Kristin, Michael, and Kevin.

The son of a US Veteran pilot, and an avid flight enthusiast himself, Gary earned his pilot's license at a young age, completing his first solo flight in 1976.

Gary had a long, successful career in engineering across several disciplines. He was full of ideas and had a passion for creating and inventing, including patenting ideas in his personal time.

In his spare time, Gary could be found soaking in his hot tub and playing with his beloved pets Babe and Tiger. He loved puzzles, games, and was always thinking of ways to make life more fun and enjoyable. He enjoyed many fishing trips on the Kenai River in Alaska with friends. Some of his greatest joys came from being with his family and making many memories, including trips as a family.

Gary is survived by his children, Kristin, Michael, and Kevin, daughters-in-law Sarah and Ali, his ex-wives Diane and Wendy, brothers Chuck and Tim, sisters-in-law Kelly and Kathy, as well as his cousins and many nieces and nephews. Gary is predeceased by his father, Gerald, and his mother, LaVerne. He will be greatly missed and always deeply loved.
