Gary Gaither Obituary
Gary Edwin Gaither, 64, of Fort Ashby, died Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at his home.
Born March 28, 1960 in Oakland, he was the son of the late Edwin J. Gaither and Kathryn O. (Johnson) Gaither.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Julie Ann (Beal) Gaither.
Gary was a graduate of Union High School.
He was a veteran, having served for 12 years in the US Army during Operation Desert Storm.
Mr. Gaither worked as a mechanic for W.W. Williams.
He is survived by three children; and his sisters, Brenda Moreland, and Judy Moreland.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.
Inurnment will be at a later date with his wife and parents in Bayard Cemetery, Bayard, WV.
The Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Fort Ashby is assisting the family with arrangements.
