Gary John Galbreath, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio. Born on February 29, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio. Gary lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for his family.
Gary attended Eastmoor High School. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong work ethic that served him well in founding his business, GGC Carpet. This spirit and determination were an inspiration to those who knew him, and his successful business stands as a testament to his talent and drive.
Gary was a devoted family man, always putting his loved ones first. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, and their four children: John Galbreath (wife Kristine, children Zachary and Mirra), Jeff Galbreath (wife Mei Lei, children Jessica, Sarah, and Nick), Jacqueline Galbreath (child Anna), and Jo Anna (husband John Peck, children Mitchell and Maggie). Gary was blessed with eight great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy and happiness.
Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it was gathering for holidays, birthdays, or simply enjoying each other's company. He was an avid collector of model cars. Gary also had a passion for working on self-designed projects. His creativity and ingenuity were admired by all who knew him.
Gary's life was indeed filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, whose love and devotion to his family were unmatched.
Gary will be deeply missed. His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those he left behind and we thank him for all the beautiful memories.
