Karen S. Galbreath, 78, of Remington, IN passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was born in Rensselaer on November 3, 1946, the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Loetze) Daniels. She was a 1964 graduate of Rensselaer High School.
Karen was a custodian at Ayda's Mexican Restaurant. She enjoyed going to yard sales, playing bingo and watching sports. She was a big Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed watching Elvis on the free stage at the Jasper County Fair. Karen loved spending time with her family and especially her precious great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children: Bill Conley of Albertville, AL, Bobby Conley of Monon, IN, Kathy Conley and Bonnie Conley, both of Rensselaer, IN; eight grandchildren: Billy Jones of Rensselaer, IN, Amanda Woodruff of Rensselaer, IN, Josh Conley-Tucker of Monticello, IN, Jeremy (Allison) Conley of Rensselaer, IN, Samantha Brown of Logansport, IN, Jasmine Conley of Albertville, AL, Britney (Adrian) Martinez of Goodland, IN, and Grayson Conley of Monon, IN; two brothers, Roger (Mary) Daniels and Walter Daniels. Seventeen great-grandchildren, four nieces and four nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Helen Daniels; two brothers, John Daniels and George Daniels; one sister, Bonnie James; and one granddaughter, Patricia Conley.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral at 12 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Pastor Paul Dyke officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Steinke Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
