GARY DEAN JONES

 

Gary Dean Jones went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2024. He was 73. He was born on August 15, 1950, in Akron, Ohio. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Dewey Elmo Jones and Coella C. Jones (Wear); and brother James E. Jones. 

 

He is survived by daughter, Lisa M. Featherstone (Dan); sons, Ryan G. Jones, Landon N. Jones; sisters, Linda J. Hentsch (Ronald), Audrey G. Rogers (Pastor Glenn); brothers, Gordon D. Jones (Barbara), William N. Jones (Janet); cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Gabriel, Lachlan; sister-in-law, Linda K. Jones; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; and best friend, Bob Feldman.

 

A former employee at Famous Telephone Supply, Gary was a graduate of Akron North High School, Class of 1969 and held Associates Degrees in Electronic Engineering and Data Networking. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend. He will always be remembered for his love of motorcycles, dogs, and for his talent of storytelling. 

 

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, 4pm - 6pm, at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue NW, Uniontown, Ohio, 44685.
