I moved in the neighborhood October 2010 shortly after that My boys and I would see this boy being wheeled around in a wheelchair. My kids were kind of puzzled they were as young as Gary Jr as well. So they didn't understand why they couldn't go play with him. But my one son said Mom he's always smiling. I said he must be very very happy and love just like you are. Boys said look at the way the lady wheels him around. We did not know if it was his Mom or a nurse, that only lasted for a short period of time wasn't too long after we introduced ourselves to our neighbors Gary Sr & Kim, who are amazing parents to both their children, and we were invited into meet Gary Jr. It was the brightest moment I think we've ever had being welcomed in this neighborhood because my boys would want to go over and visit with Gary Jr just to see him smile. I'm so happy our family had the opportunity to meet you all and we will forever carry his smile in our hearts. Thank you for giving us the opportunity Love Stephanie, Dominic, Dexter Jr & Carol. And while you may feel pain of the absence of your child remember this. He's smiling down on all of you and all of the people that loved him so much heaven has definitely gained a precious angel.

ONE of my favorite memories of my cousin is - when it had been a while since I had seen him, and I was shocked to see he had grown a mustache! I asked Gary who let him do that and he just laughed at me with that contagious belly laugh of his!
