Angel Radames Hernandez, 85 years old of Ocala, Florida, passed away on October 26, 2024, in Ocala, FL.
Angel Radames Hernandez was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico to Mariano Hernandez and Tomasa Medina Hernandez. He worked as an electrician for ConEdison Company of New York City for 30 years. He enjoyed salsa dancing, fine wine, coffee, baseball, gardening and serving God. He received awards for loyal service at his employment, recognition for volunteering at the Ocala local hospital, and for his in-depth bible studies at the Intituto Bíblico Latino Americano in New York City.
Angel Radames Hernandez is survived by his wife, Carmen C. Hernandez of Ocala, Florida, daughters Arlene Applewhite Hernandez, and Ana M. Hernandez, his sons Angel Jr. Hernandez and Oscar Hernandez, 4 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at Roberts of Ocala Funeral at 606 SW 2nd Ave. Ocala, Florida on Friday November 1st, 2024, at 10am. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park of Ocala 1515 NE Third St. Ocala, Fl 34470 at 2pm.
Memorial Donations may be given in honor of Angel Radames Hernandez to Alzheimer's Association (Alz.org) and or National Alliance on Mental Illness (nami.org).
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hospice Grace Davis Hall house, Advinia Care at Paddock Ridge Assisted Living, and to Roberts of Ocala Funeral for their care of Angel Radames Hernandez.
As a devoted Christian, Angel Radames Hernandez kept God in his heart, and in his normal departing words he would say "don't forget the Lord."
