Gary Lynn Kintner, MSgt USAF (ret.), age 76 of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed into the arms of Jesus on December, 5th 2025 in Wichita Falls.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December11th at Lunn's. A Going Home Celebration will be conducted at Evangel Church at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12th with Pastor Kile Bateman officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.

Gary was born in Kokomo, Indiana on June 2, 1949. He was the younger of two children born to the late Henry J. and Geneva A. (Kingery) Kintner, both of Kokomo, Indiana. A 1967 graduate of Kokomo High School, Gary married Linda L. (Klopp) Turner in Kokomo on June 8, 1968. In August of the same year, Gary enlisted in the United States Air Force. He spent eight years as a helicopter mechanic, including a year at Da Nang AFLD, RVN with the highly decorated 37th Air Rescue and Recovery Squadron, followed by over 12 years in the US Air Force Recruiting Service.

On July 11, 1987, Gary married Beverly C. Wright, Col USAF (ret.), in San Antonio, Texas. Gary was a 1974 magna cum laude graduate of Park University in Parkville, Missouri. He retired from the Air Force on November 1st 1988: having attained the rank of MSgt.

Gary is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Beverly C. Wright, his son Michael B. Kintner and daughter-in-law Mary, both of Brownsburg, Indiana, as well as two granddaughters: Rachel (Kintner) Sexton, of Brownsburg, and Alyssa (Kintner) Thomas, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and three great grandchildren. Gary is also survived by his two daughters: Kristy R. Wright, of Woodbridge, Virginia, and Robin M. (Wright) Plumlee, son-in-law Stephen and two grandsons, Jeremiah and Charlie, all of Stephenville, Texas. He is further survived by his sister, Cristobel (Kintner) Alexander, of Kokomo, Indiana, as well as two nieces and one nephew.

Gary loved and served our Abba Father and his Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, with all his heart, soul, and mind. He was a faithful member of Evangel Church, Wichita Falls, Texas. He was an avid shooter and loved all things "steam locomotive".

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Evangel Church, 3800 Barnett Rd., Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
