Gary LaDuke Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kriegshauser Brothers Funeral Service from Mar. 4 to Mar. 5, 2022.
Gary David LaDuke

Passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in Saint Louis, MO, after a brief illness. He was 69 years old. He is survived by his brother, Mitch and sister-in-law, Lori, his sister, Deborah and brother-in-law, Wayne, and a host of loving individuals including his daughter, Brittney and son-in-law, Brian, niece, Megan, nephews, Danny, Cory, Brendon, Derek, and his pets, Taylor and Alice. He was predeceased by his parents David LaDuke and Janette Ball.

Born in Syracuse, New York, Gary graduated from Bishop Grimes high school and attended Rutgers University. He taught Music Technology at California State University- Fullerton. He was self-employed (Gary LaDuke, LLC) as an IT service specialist.

Gary loved music, body art, astronomy, and his family. He was the leader of The LaDuke Project, an eclectic group of St. Louis musicians and performed with various people in the Saint Louis area. Performing, recording, and producing music was Gary's greatest passion. The only thing greater than his passion for music was his love and devotion to his family and pets.

He will be remembered for his humor, warmth, and personal brand of goofiness that brought joy to those who knew him.

I worked with Gary at my father's business. He was always warm and friendly, using humor often and where I recall interactions being something I can say I really enjoyed. He was a cool guy and an individual, and I'm glad I knew him growing up and at one of my first full time positions. Thanks Mr. LaDuke. I'll remember you fondly.
