Gary Lee Braly, 79, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in Fort Worth. Graveside service will be held Monday, December 8, 2025 at 10 a.m. in Green Acres Memorial Park in Cleburne under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Gary was born December 19, 1945 in Jacksonville, Texas to the late James Finus and Bertha Lee (Samples) Braly. He married Sandra Jo DeFreze in Shreveport. Gary was a Constable for Precinct 4 in Johnson County and was a member of The Heights Church in Cleburne.
Gary felt called to serve his community as a Texas Peace Officer. He loved music and playing drums for the Praise Team at church. He loved his family and was the best Daddy and Paw-paw, teaching his grandsons to hunt was a special joy. Most of all he enjoyed eating out and going to movies with best friend Sandy during the 61 years they have shared together.
Survivors include: wife, Sandra Braly; daughters, Brandi Duncan and Amber Jones; grandchildren, Amanda Wheeler, Gary Dean Jones, Karlee Jones, BreAnn Calloway, Blake Jones, and Paiton Jones.
