Born on January 6, 1956, the son of Alvin and Helen Little. He graduated from South Burlington High School in 1975. Gary loved spending time with his family. He was involved in many organizations where he gained many amazing friendships. These include Malletts Bay Fire Dept, Burlington Elks Lodge #916 where he served as Exalted Ruler, Fraternal Order of Eagles #793 and Burlington Moose Lodge #1618 and many more. Gary loved being behind the microphone calling Bingo, Calcutta's or announcing at sporting events. Gary often talked about his work family from Hannaford's where he spent the last 26 years working.
Gary is survived by his son, Gary Little II and his wife Chantal, his daughter Holly O'Brien and her husband Kevin, grandchildren Dylan, Zoe, Kelsey and Tristyn, great-granddaughter Aurora, sister, Janice as well as nieces and nephews.
Gary was predeceased by his father Alvin, mother Helen, and brother William.
Please join Gary's family for a Celebration of Life on August 7, 2025, from 4-7pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1233 Shelburne Rd in South Burlington, VT. Come ready to share your fond memories of Gary.
Burial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of the Cremation Society of Chittenden County, a division of Ready Funeral & Cremation Services.
