Gary Patrick Medure, 69, of White Plains NY, passed away peacefully at home Monday, October 30, 2023 with loved ones by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda (Russotti); his daughter, Alexandra and his son, Gary Jr, both of Yonkers, NY; his brother, Ronnie (Debbie) of Ossining, NY; his cherished nieces and nephews: Ronnie, Mary, Christopher, Andrea and Steven; and his mother-in-law, Odny Russotti. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Mary Medure of Bronx, NY.
Gary was a people person. He loved and was loved by his family and friends. He enjoyed the company of family and friends and surrounded himself around them as much as possible. He and Linda traveled with dear friends to many favorite places including Florida and Saratoga and spent holidays at home with family. He was an entertainer and was often referred to as the 'host with the most', always making sure there was plenty of food and smiles all around. He wanted people to enjoy great food and found joy in sharing many of his favorites.
Gary loved his sports, especially his New York Yankees. There was rarely a day when there wasn't a game on the television in one of the rooms of his house.
Gary was a very giving person and will be missed dearly. His dedication to his family and friends will leave a sadness in everyone who knew him. He will forever be in our hearts.
