Gary Charles Muhlberger passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the age of 77. Gary was the beloved husband to Maureen Muhlberger (nee Sanford) for 55 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving sons Gary W. Muhlberger and Jason Muhlberger, as well as his brother Bruce Muhlberger, sister Lisa Bennett, and grandchildren Ivy and Hunter Muhlberger.
For more than five decades Gary was a leader in the beauty industry, owning and operating Gary Charles and Associates, a second home for clients and employees alike. Throughout his career he trained and mentored hundreds of employees. He generously shared his skills, passion, and wisdom, always taking the time to nurture talent and instill confidence in others. His legacy lives on in every stylist he guided and every client he made feel beautiful. Gary, thank you for your vision and your heart. You've given so much more than haircuts; you've given a lifetime of service, love and community.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet Gary's family on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Dean-Geitner-Givnish Funeral Home, 7900 Oxford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111.
