Gary Lee Muterspaugh, born on January 29, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 22, 2025, at his residence. He was a dedicated individual whose life was characterized by a strong work ethic and a passion for various interests.
Gary spent his career serving as a security guard at CVS, where he was known for his commitment to ensuring a safe environment for both customers and staff. His professionalism and sense of responsibility left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him.
Education played an important role in Gary's life. After completing high school, he pursued further education with enthusiasm by attending some college. This commitment to learning exemplified his belief in self-improvement and expansion of knowledge.
Outside of his professional life, Gary was a man of diverse interests. He had a profound love for racing and motorcycles, often finding joy in the thrill of speed and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. Additionally, he had a particular affinity for electronics, showcasing an inquisitive mind that enjoyed understanding how things worked.
Gary also had a unique talent for helping others with their professional journeys. He spent time building resumes for people, assisting them in presenting their skills and experiences in the best possible light.
Throughout his life, Gary touched many hearts with his kindness and willingness to lend a hand to those in need. His vibrant personality and passion for living were evident to all who knew him. The legacy he leaves behind is one of dedication, passion, and service to others.
He will be remembered fondly by all whose lives he influenced, and his memory will remain a treasured part of their lives.
Gary is survived by his sister Sandra Baker, Nieces Emma Spaulding, and Mariah Loyd. Nephews Coke Treacy, and Cody Spaulding.
A visitation will be held on May 17, 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Flanner Buchanan, located at 7855 Cork Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46236. This will be followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm. Gary will be laid to rest a Floral Park Cemetery.
