Gary Norris was born on November 20, 1957 and passed away just a few weeks shy of his 67th birthday on November 4, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Doris Davis Norris and brother Harold (Butch) Norris, Jr. He is survived by his wife Bonnie of 42 years; daughter Carrie Norris; sons Patrick Norris, Joseph (Kiersten) Norris, Matthew Norris; eight grandchildren Cristian, Oscar, Joseph, Ash, Hayden, Channing, Tuskan and Xander.

Gary graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and then went to trade school and received an airplane mechanics license, but due to the economy was forced to switch careers. He worked most of his adult life driving trucks from cement to semis. He was fortunate to drive over the road for two year, but mostly in town to be able to spend time with his family, who he adored - especially his grandchildren. Gary was employed most recently by Ceva Logistics and enjoyed working along side his fellow drivers. He was always available to respond to their calls or texts.

He loved to travel. Between his father working for TWA and his over the road travels was able to see every state in America but Alaska. He enjoyed playing games on his tablet and the occasional fishing trip. And he loved those "CHIEFS." Gary's most prized possession was a 1989 Ford F-250 and would still be driving it, but was totaled in a wreck serval years ago. He was always a kid at heart!
