Gary Oliver of Columbia, Tennessee, and a native of West Virginia, passed away at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife Kay; children Christopher Oliver (Jennifer), Richie Simmons (Leslie), Gretta DeSantis, and Jenny Simmons; He also is survived with many beloved grandchildren.
A National Guard veteran and a graduate in Accounting from Lipscomb University, Gary’s career spanned accounting and computer science, reflecting his adaptability and passion for technology and learning. His love for tennis in his younger years and golf later on in life illustrated his competitive yet jovial nature.
Gary was a member of Graymere Church of Christ. The family appreciates the support from friends and the community. No services are scheduled at this time, Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements.
