Gary Allan Ooten, age 73, departed this life on Tuesday January 16, 2024. He was born on February 20, 1950, to the late Everett Lee Ooten & Clarissa Hicks Ooten. He was a talented Brick Mason for over 50 years. Gary loved riding & building motorcycles. Gary also dearly loved his cats, Florine & Toejam.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Jesse Lee Ooten; Brother: Danny Ooten, Doyle Ooten, & Jim Ooten; Sisters: Arnell, Idell, Bon L. & Carol.
He is survived by his wife: Ann Ooten; Son: Allen Ooten & wife Bridgett; Grandchildren: McKenzie (Ooten) Miller & husband Carter, Zackery Patton & wife Allie, Jager Patton, Presley Ooten Crabtree & husband Cornbread; Great-Grandchild: Roper Patton; and many more relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Brother Bradley Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazel Valley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
