Gary D. Paschall 62 of Abilene passed away Wednesday August 6, 2025 at his home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday August 12, 2025 at 10am at North's Funeral Home located at 242 Orange St. Abilene, TX with burial to follow at Round Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-7pm at the Funeral Home.
Gary was born on July 17, 1963, in Grand Prairie, Texas, to parents L.S. and Jeanne Paschall. He moved to Abilene shortly after birth and was raised there, attending schools in the Abilene Independent School District. He graduated from Abilene High School, where he was actively involved in the ROTC program.
After high school, Gary began working at K-Mart as an Assistant Manager before starting a long and dedicated career with FedEx, where he worked for over 25 years.
A passionate gamer, Gary especially enjoyed playing the "Fallout" series and was known as an avid and skilled video game player. Beyond his hobbies, Gary was deeply devoted to his family. He was a loving father, devoted uncle, caring husband, and loyal friend. His warm spirit and kind heart touched many.
In 1985, Gary married the love of his life, Renee, and together they shared 40 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Paschall of Abilene; his son, Christopher Paschall of Abilene; his sister, Susan Paschall of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Roxan Casady of Abilene; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, L.S. and Jeanne Paschall. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Services entrusted to North's Funeral Home.
