Gary Quate Obituary
He was born June 6, 1977, in Muncie, the son of Gary and Brenda (Strunk) Quate. Gary Lee graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1995.
Gary Lee loved playing Super Mario World and was an avid collector of Disney cars. He enjoyed car rides and camping with campfires.
Gary Lee loved to bowl and always had a smile on his face.
Gary is survived by his parents, Gary and Brenda Quate; sister, Michelle (James) Wise; uncle, Delbert (Diane) Strunk; aunts, Sandy Wright, Vicki Swoape, and Donna (Kevin) Sanders; uncles, Steve (Janet) Quate and Jerry (Brenda) Quate; two nephews, David and Dakota; a niece, Danielle; seven great nieces and nephews; and endless cousins and great cousins.
Gary Lee was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert and Jeanette Quate; maternal grandparents, Delbert and Wanda Strunk; his brother, Michael Quate; and uncles, Vaughn Wright and Danny Swoape.
There will be no public visitation or service for Gary Lee.
Memorial contributions may be made to Little Red Door Cancer Agency, 413 S. Tillotson Ave., Unit 9, Muncie, IN 47304.
The Quate family would like to express their special thanks to Kim Moore and I.S.S. Homecare, for their many years of wonderful care of Gary Lee. He had many great home care aids.
