Gary Leon Ridley

Gary Leon Ridley, age 70, of Conyers, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, at his home.

Gary was born on October 23, 1954, in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Linda Marie Woods Ridley, and brother, David Ridley. Gary was the business manager of Linda's Riding School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Gary loved horseback riding and qualifying in horse shows - he won several tournaments. He also loved Western television shows and driving his John Deere tractor.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Linda Cronic Ridley; son, Brandon Jonathan Ridley; daughter, Jade Cronic Ridley; stepdaughter, Tina New; grandchildren, Addison Ridley and Grayson Ridley; sisters, Bobbi Ridley and Shirley Ridley Stone (Herman); niece; sister-in-law, Wanda Cronic Howell (Lee); and nieces Nicole Selph, Jessica McIntosh (Ike), and Sherrie Gorrie (David).

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Gary's memory to Dolly Goodpuppy Society, P.O. Box 361, Barnesville, GA 30204.
