Gary S. Ross, age 70, of Aston, PA, formerly of Swarthmore, PA, died on Friday, August 1, 2025. Gary was a 1973 graduate of Ridley High School. He graduated from Penn State University in 1978 with a BS in Biophysics. Gary was self-employed in Fiber optics.
Gary enjoyed Bluegrass music and loved playing both his guitar and clawhammer banjo. He was a devoted Grateful Dead fan. Gary enjoyed tending to his garden, especially growing and canning peppers, which he loved to share with family and friends.
Gary was the Administrator from 2017-2019 of the Media Moose Lodge 2189 and was a member of the Lenni AC.
Son of the late Norman and Elsie (Duchossois) Ross.
Survivors:
Wife of 40 years: Ruth (Green) Ross
Sister: Linda (Randy) Hohl
Niece: Beth (Mike) Owens
Grand-niece: Andraya Whalen
Grand-nephews: Liam Owens, Colby Owens
Services will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
