Gary Sorrells Obituary

Gary was a proud member of the Hillsboro Eagles Aerie 1161. He loved spending time fishing and was well known as the neighborhood handyman, always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the many ways he touched the lives of those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Gary is survived by his three children, Sarah, Gary Hughes, and Gary Kyle (Emily) Sorrells; two grandchildren, Drew Michael Patton and Kaleb Leighton Chandler Sorrells; two brothers, Jerry Sorrells and David Sorrells. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kaleb Nathaniel Sorrells in 1996; four siblings, Don Sorrells, Rose Morgan, Barbara Gibson, and James "Junebug" Sorrells.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
