Gary Suiter Obituary
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will be held the same day, Friday September 1, at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Phillip was born on August 3, 1948 in Clarksville, TN to the late James Douglas Suiter and the late Mary Lee (Jackson) Orvis. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Elaine Bennett Suiter; 2 children, Pamela Dawn Suiter and Scott Suiter; and his siblings, James David Suiter, Paul Douglas Suiter, and Connie Armstrong.
He is survived by his son, William Douglas "Bill Doug" Suiter of Franklin, KY; grandson, Justin Suiter (Jasmine Cowles); granddaughter, Baley Suiter of Franklin, KY; 4 great-grandchildren, Braxton Dean Moseley, Jaxon Reid Suiter, Jeremiah Scott Suiter, Jonah Phillip Suiter; 6 siblings, Carolyn Hunton of Bowling Green, KY, Linda Joyce Pinson of Franklin, KY, Brenda Kay Davis of Franklin, KY, Debbie Ann Bogle of Franklin, KY. Donnie Ray Suiter of Dawson Springs, KY, Jeffery. Glenn Suiter of Franklin, KY; several nieces and nephews and close relatives.
Phillip was a retired contractor of his own business, Suiter & Son's Siding. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed to fish, hunt, and watch westerns.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory to help with final expenses.
