My first memory that I had with Gavin was when I met him at orientation as we were both newcomers to Archbishop Shaw, and me and him clicked instantly making jokes and making each other laugh and smile.

I first met Gavin when I volunteered to work a Don Bosco dinner right before
the school year of my freshman year. He first came up to me with some funny jokes and we laughed. We both started off the event by holding the doors for people coming in. When we held the doors, we talked and started to get to know each other. He first told me about how he wanted to become a cop or either a programmer. I thought he was a really cool guy, and I wanted to let my friends know. I took a picture of him on my Snapchat, and then I sent it to my friends. It´s been almost a year, and I still think about him to this day. I hope he rests in peace in God´s hands .

So so sorry to hear this. He was so nice and my family commented on how polite and friendly he was when we visited the bakery. Our prayers are with his family
