Vino was born July 18, 1968, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to Gavino and Cathy Zertuche. He was their eldest son. Vino had a successful career as an electrical engineer in Greenville, Texas, where he designed aircraft systems for the United States Air Force, including Air Force One. After returning to Las Cruces, Vino became an avid salsa maker, earning a loyal following across the United States.
Vino is survived by his daughter Heather Zertuche, his mother Cathy, and his siblings Irene Deyong, Gloria Podruchny, Shirley Holguin, Jacob Zertuche, and Abel Zertuche.
Arrangements are with La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home at 555 W Amador Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88005, on Friday, June 20th, at 10 AM.
