Gayle enjoyed many things throughout life including crocheting, cooking, gardening, putting together puzzles, was an avid animal lover and had an impressive succulent collection. Above everything else in life however, Gayle devoted herself to taking care of her family. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved spending time with them.
Gayle is survived by her sons, Terry (Necole) Modert, Gabriel (Jessica) Modert, Denver (Jenny) Modert, Jonah (Kristie) Modert, Jacob (Christina) Modert; 11 grandchildren ranging in age from 20 to 9; sister, Diane (John) Leonard; and 4 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce; and mother, Elizabeth "Betty".
At this time cremation has taken place and a celebration of Gayle's life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Calhoun County Animal Shelter in honor of Gayle.
