Gayle Marlene Megge

Gayle Megge, age 52, was born on March 18th, 1971, in Southfield, Michigan. Gayle passed away peacefully on January 28th 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Angela Impastato. Dearest mother to Jake Megge-Impastato, and Angelina Megge-Impastato.
Gayle was the loving daughter of Marlene Grajek-Heiple (Paul) and Dennis Kijewski. Loving sister to Donna Williams (Hugh). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dearest brothers and sisters-in-law.
Gayle was a dedicated educator for 27 years in Chippewa Valley Schools who served Dakota High School and he community with passion and commitment to reach and educate all students. Gayle taught 9th grade Biology and Honors Biology her entire career with excitement and purpose, and she inspired and led many students in her role as Class Sponsor. Her impact on students and her colleagues was profound and she will be deeply missed by everyone that was blessed to have her as a part of their lives.
Gayle was devoted to her family and pet family and always enjoyed sharing time with them by their pool. She was highly active and loved to cook and entertain family and friends; she was the life of a party. Gayle loved to travel and planned many memorable family vacations. Gayle's feisty spirit will live within all of us.
Visitation Thursday 3-8pm. Funeral service officiated by Pastor Lou Vitto, Friday 10am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 54880 Van Dyke (at 25 Mile Rd.), Shelby Township.
