DALE "KIRK" KENNEDY
1955 - 2024
Dale "Kirk" Kennedy; Age 68 of Macomb, Michigan passed away with his loving family by his side Sunday, June 2, 2024.
Kirk is the beloved husband of Kimberly (nee: Roll) and the adoring father to Christopher (Jeanette) and Melissa (Aaron). He is the doting Grandpa to Annemarie, Caleb, Logan and Nora. Kirk will be greatly missed by many friends and special family members.
He was born on August 22, 1955, in Tawas, Michigan to Dale and Pauline Kennedy (nee: Coppler). He always cherished fond memories of growing up in Oscoda, Michigan amongst many friends and extended family.
Kirk's Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11am (Visitation at 10am) at Shepards Gate Church; 12400 23 Mile Rd; Shelby Twp., Michigan 48315. Pastor Ben Marsh will officiate. Following his service, his family and friends will continue to celebrate his life with a luncheon at the church.
Kirk was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Tigers/Redwings/Lions. He had a lot of advice for the teams if they ever needed it. In addition, he was a regular attendee and supporter of youth sports in Carey, Ohio and at Dakota High School. Kirk loved golfing, hunting, fishing, and especially camping with his family. He and his wife, Kim had enjoyed many great camping trips with their favorite destinations being the upper peninsula, Mackinac Island and Silver Lake.
His favorite place to be was his family's farm in Carey, Ohio. He spent summers as a child, and visited regularly. He involved himself in every aspect of the farm and those who lived there.
